That made me remember one instance where automatic translation is impossible, described I believe in the Translator Microbes trope page. Where a Green Lantern ring went so far into the periphery worlds that it ended up on a planet where the inhabitants are completely and utterly blind, and don't even have a concept for color or light, and the Green Lantern who arrived there had to dance circles around the whole thing trying to convey what it meant to be a GL. Even had a new oath made up for them, something about a C Sharp Bell, I think.

And then there'll be, what? Phantasy Star? Earthbound? Golden Sun? Star Ocean? I suppose the season finale will be called Final Fantasy. Oh, and they should totally rename the next episode with Twilight to Chrono Trigger.

Does everyone remember how they looked at mlp before they were corrupted by cuteness and magic?

I'm pretty certain if I didn't have the youtube mentality of "WATCH ALL THE VIDEOS!", I would've dropped it at the first episode and just left it there.

...But I had to click the second.

And the third.

And make tabs for the rest all the way to the 8th.

MLP was presented to me from Tyrant Celestia. The first I read of it was in the "Who is Necro910?" thread, actually. I accepted the herd with open arms.

I read Cupcakes before I watched a single episode.

I don't even remember how I started. All I remember is finishing the first two episodes, going "Well. that was... Alright then." and then moving on to the rest of the series.

Honestly I would NEVER show someone I'm trying to inducted the first two episodes first; I almost always start with 'Winter Wrap Up', 'Swarm of the Century', or the discord saga. The "rampaging" serpent with an accent usually scares people off ~ very detrimental to the minds of those I had managed to open up :/

I was ambivalent toward it at first, not really caring one way or another.

Still I watched some clips here and there that were linked to me. What ultimately made me decide to watch the show was, of all things, Guile's Theme Goes With Everything (Sonic Rainboom).

I just couldn't get over the fact a pony making a rainbow was friggin' awesome.
