After the success of Special Delivery on FiMFiction, it was suggested that I try my talent at similar fictions, short fanfics with a simple premise quickly formed into a story. Unfortunately, I have no idea what to write, so I could use some ideas. Just say whatever you can think of, and I'll see what I can do. Even if I can't pull it off, I'm certain someone else can.

Care to write a short synopsis? I can't get the whole picture from the song. Partially because I can't understand some of the lyrics because they're not clearly sung.

Basically, a teenaged girl was at home, and decided that because she didn't like Mondays, she'd make them more fun by shooting at the kids going to school, at school, and until she was stopped by the police.

Short, probably could be fleshed out quite a bit more. I don't seem to do so well with fleshing out, though.
Edit: Seems I took a lighter and softer take on the whole thing. Which is nice, I guess, you don't hear many stories involving psychopaths that end happily.

- She groggily faded into consciousness, the memory of the dream holding her back from full awareness. Her hoof flew out to slam against the top of the alarm clock whose noise was violently dragging her away from her sleep. Unfortunately, it was too little too late, and Fluttershy found herself groggily laying in her bed sans her beloved Rainbow Dash.
"Fuck Mondays." Fluttershy shifted in her bed, trying to return to sleep so she could spend a drop more time in her fantasy. Unfortunately, she found the effort futile, especially once her mother began yelling through the house for everyone to wake up. The yellow pegasus rolled and clambered slowly from the bed until hoof reached floor, and she looked at the picture sitting upon her nightstand, planting a kiss on the rainbow-haired filly smiling in the photo. Fluttershy then tottered into her personal bathroom and locked the door, thanking Celestia that her mother had at least the sense to buy a house with enough bathrooms for everyone so she wouldn't have to compete with her siblings anymore.
As she stepped from the room, freshly showered, she was swept into the kitchen by her mother, who had been waiting in ambush. The food laid before her was burnt, as always happened on Mondays. Her little brother and sister, also tormented by having to rise at such a foreign hour compared to the long nights of the weekend, were taking it out on everyone else, as always happened on Mondays. Mother was now yelling at them with every ounce of vitriol she could muster, as always happened on Mondays.
Fluttershy tilted her eyes up to her hair, which, despite a thorough cleaning and brushing, was still mussed, as always happened on Mondays.
As she waited for her mother, the pegasus thought about how much Mondays sucked. And then her eyes settled on her father's sawn-off, sitting high and unguarded on top of the safe. She gripped the barrel with her hoof and inspected it. It was just the right size to fit in her schoolbag. It was also a twenty-gauge, which meant it wouldn't really be that dangerous. She opened up her father's unlocked drawer to reveal copious amounts of ammunition for the small gun. Fluttershy thanked Celestia for her father's absentmindedness as she thought about how much funner this Monday was about to be.
Fluttershy sat in waiting at the front door of the high school, as usual. Her mother had to kick her out of the house early on Mondays, and this meant getting to the school ridiculously early. However, unlike usual, Fluttershy had a new toy to play with, and the normally boring time was suddenly filled with elated anticipation for the first few victims of her prank. Sure enough, the first pegasus dropped in front of the building and gave Fluttershy a kind wave. Fluttershy had no qualms against Principal Hover, and allowed him to unlock the door and go in.
"Aren't you coming?" He asked, holding the door open.
"No, thanks, I'd just like to wait here." Fluttershy smiled lovingly at the principal as he shrugged his shoulders and entered.
Fluttershy made sure he wasn't watching, then pulled the gun from her bag and loaded it full of birdshot. The pellets would be small and weak, enough to scare a person, or maybe injure them at close range, but would have little chance of causing serious injury. Fluttershy waited, now hiding behind the column in front of the school and peeking her head around, for her first victim.
Mrs. Crabapple, a distant in-law of the Apple family famous for running the farms that fed most of Equestria, glided in towards her job. She had a habit of getting to the school early. She also had a habit of being an irritable, snobby teacher who made her students hate her, especially when she demanded college-level work from them. Fluttershy had a report that was supposed to be due today, but she figured what she was about to give the teacher would more than make up for the late paper.
As Mrs. Crabapple drew nearer, the pegasus popped out of cover and swung the gun around towards her target. Before the teacher could properly comprehend what was happening, her body suddenly erupted into a horrid stinging pain, like she had just been poked with dozens of hot needles all at once. The loud bang accompanying the pain served to disorient her, and the old mare stumbled away from the school's entrance and off the side of the cloud.
Fluttershy rushed to the side, wondering if Mrs. Crabapple would fall to her death. To her relief, the teacher was swooping away quickly. Fluttershy sighed in relief as she looked up to the sky, where more ponies were flying in. She retreated to her cover and cocked the gun, kicking the emptied shell away.
"Equestria's News 9, Open Mic reporting with a special bulletin, it would appear that a student of the Cloudsdale Flight Academy has taken up a gun and is attacking people who try and enter the school with it. However, the weapon has proven to be non-lethal, which appears to be the shooter's intention. No information has come forward as to the identity of the filly, but several of her teachers and classmates have been allowed to enter the school, while most others have been scared away. The building is currently surrounded by the Equestrian Guard, who are trying to diffuse the situation by talking the student out."
Fluttershy peeked out of the doorway. The Guard and several news crews had set up shop around the building. She looked at her ammo stocks, which were plentiful, but had nothing that could really let her escape the situation she was in. She looked up at her friends...
Principal Hover had a disappointed look on his face. It may not have been much, but he was invested emotionally into just about every pony who made their way through the flight school, and that look could break even the most stubborn of minds.
Rainbow Dash and her friend Gilda looked on with strange expressions. They seemed to be part amazed by the brilliant prank, part horrified that the Fluttershy they couldn't imagine hurting a fly had brought a weapon to school and shot at people. Rainbow Dash seemed particularly uncomfortable, and Fluttershy knew that Rainbow had long known about the crush Fluttershy had on her. Finally, Rainbow Dash looked to Derpy. The derp-eyed pony was looking at her with an expression that said "Why are you doing this?"
Fluttershy sighed as her head dropped down. "Fuck Mondays."
Fluttershy's stay in juvenile detention was only a month, much to the displeasure of Mrs. Crabapple, who had likely faced the worst of the attack. To Mrs. Crabapple's even greater displeasure, Principal Hover allowed Fluttershy back into the school. Nobody ever looked at the shy pegasus the same way again, however.

You;re right; that was a lot less violent than the song was :p Not a bad thing, of course; all our ponies don't need to be psychopathic murderers or fall prey to psychopathic murderers, after all :D
As for more inspiration, I would suggest simply listening closely to the lyrics of songs and imagine what a story that relates to the lyrics would be like. I get a lot of inspiration form song lyrics; none of it ever amounts to much, but if you're just looking for quick stories then it probably in't a bad idea.

The song I got inspiration from didn't have lyrics, nor did I make any mention of a song in the first place. I think you may be thinking of something else.

I don't know what it is, but it sounds a bit rushed. Really liked the rest, though!Applebloom was finally done with her chores, and Applejack said she could go play with her friends. Applebloom quickly ran toward the CMC clubhouse, wondering what amazing adventures awaited.
