Her breakdown wasn't justified well enough, imo. She's never been *that* OCD, before or since, so OCD alone making her go crazy seemed out of character.

The moral was about not brushing your friends off, so if that had been integrated into part of her breakdown (and not just a side thought at the end), then it would've worked a LOT better.

That site you're using looks to work if you use their "copy to clipboard" function. The url is slightly different and it comes with a link to their website tacked on. Dunno why they don't allow normal direct links.

These posts and your depression fics have been bugging me so I'm going to actually answer seriously.

We can't fix your problems. We can't give you motivation. No TV show, or any form of media, can do that either.

What we can do is offer support. Whine to us all you want, if you feel like it. Shoulders to lean on, and all that.
And as for ponies... for me personally, it gave me a 3 month super high and knocked me out of apathy. It could never keep me out of apathy and depression, though. Why? Because while stories are great and let you feel emotion, you're feeling emotion by proxy. Make your own life into a story that will give you those emotions, and this time, it'll be real.

Escapism should be used for stress relief and nothing more. It can't replace your life; that's as unhealthy as drinking your sorrows away with beer.
