Or, the Flying Dice did one 1-hour pencil sketch that wasn't complete rubbish and foolishly believes he will do more and better thread.




So there. Maybe now I will have motivation to work on improving myself.

If ever you think a drawing if your sucks, understand you had to draw it. Otherwise, the bad drawing would've just come out later.

Get the 10000 or so bad drawings out the way earlier rather than later.

What really sucks is stopping to sharpen your pencil with a pocket knife every couple minutes because the campus bookstore was out of those good, little metal pencil sharpeners and you didn't have a screwdriver to steal one off the walls with.

Thanks to my complete lack of internet this afternoon, I got a bit of drawing done. Based on part of Canterlot in Moonlight Voyage.


Initial scan (Yeah, the page was a bit big, so some got clipped and there was a fold-shadow. Shouldn't matter too much once I'm done coloring, and probably does a better impression of cloud-shadow than I could.) Once guess whose building that is top-center.



Small bit of coloring done. Apparently going to be a night scene, and holy shit the spraypaint tool was useful for something. I wish I had my colored pencils, but I don't so I gotta make do. I guess it's easy when your buildings are large enough for single pixels to be windows. :3
