What are YOU playing?

I tried to download Star Trek Online, and am stuck at the first loading screen after making my character. It reaches about 60-70% done before it simply decides to idle instead of loading the "Welcome to Star Trek Online" mission (which I assume is the starter mission). I unblocked the program from the firewall, but perhaps I am missing something else that's stopping it.

All patches are installed and the splash launcher runs fine. Any ideas here?

Not a clue. Ask on their customer support forum?

Crap, now it gets to the beginning cutscene and freezes.
I know I should go on the tech support forum, but I hate asking for help, I feel like I'm disturbing them needlessly.

So, I was playing worms 2 on ipod against "Badmins" ai team I made (It has Toady and Flying Dice and admins/mods on other sites) and I had 1 worm on 100 health against Flying Dice ai with 1 health. The worms were right next to eachother when the turn changes to the ai. The spot was so good that there was no way I could lose all my health so I had practically began celebrating victory, but then SUDDEN DEATH happens and lowers all worms health to 1. Dice shoots terrible shot that does 3 damage and earns the most undeserved win in any ai has ever got.

If this forum had proper search function I would find the "DIIICE!" I posted once and quote it here. But the search sucks so yeah.

Lots of Trouble in Terrorist Town. Been having lots of fun sniping innos and killing crowds of players with well-hidden C4 and strategically placed corpses. :3

It can be nightmarish for me to end up on the traitor side, "Joh is acting suspicious" after few min in and lynch mob comes after me. I havent played it too much though.

How do people kill as objects. I've been attacking people as TV's and tables and I do nothing. And I've seen kills on the servers I play.

Try playing on the xG server. Ever since I started playing on their JB CSS server, I've hardly gone anywhere else. They maintain a fairly strict set of rules; killing someone without evidence or a plausible reason (e.g. "They were shooting at me", "They had a traitor weapon out", etc.) warrants a slay next round, and a ban if it is done repeatedly. Same thing for killing people with props as a spectator. It makes it much more interesting when the detectives are more important and you have to have actual reasons to cap someone; Traitor is a bit easier to play and wins as Innocent are much more satisfying. Plus the admins typically slay people by lighting them on fire, don't count moving an explosive barrel next to someone (and having it be shot by someone) as propkilling, and pretty much all the regulars are cool people to play with.

You either need to have a heavy prop (bookcase, cabinet, etc.) or be moving at high speed. The best are dropping heavy props on people and getting things that can get going really fast and run into them. The best way to move fast is to move your view to where you're looking up and forward at the prop and start tapping W very fast. Smaller props can build up enough momentum to keep moving until you hit something. Do keep in mind that a number of servers specifically forbid propkilling and you'll get slayed or banned if you get caught.

Admin was pretty cool in my case, we were having prop races and the traitor walked into the middle of the whole mess.

I find it funny how professional and unprofessional we are at the same time. Thanks, Dice.

There's at least one map that has a merry-go-round you can use to murder people. It's hilarious watching one of the spectators spin that thing to ludicrous speeds the having someone jump on it and die. Playground from Hell.

Well, finally watched Saw. Good movie, one of the better plot twists (No, not the pony kind).

Just had a hilarious little round of TTT. On spawn another player and I were stuck, and there weren't any admins on. After the round started, we both ended up as detectives. Obviously that wasn't going to work too well, so we asked someone to throw a discombobulator at us to knock us apart. On a part of the map composed of a bunch of widely spaced catwalks hanging about 150ish meters up. I caught air, crossing maybe 8-9 meters of completely open space before landing on a different catwalk. NINJA.

Playing FTL, this game's addicting. Keep getting killed by rebel scum.

Told everyone I was gay in guild chat.
Logged off 3 seconds later.
Laugh like the crazy person I am.
Very much hoping they're looking at each other going "wtf."
