My hair is kept too short for a ponytail. Trying to grow my hair long just makes it look absolutely hideous because my hair is evil.

My hair only stays one way. You can gel it in another position, and it will still go back to side-parted. It's quite frustrating when I'm trying to look like someone else, eg. cosplay. Also, usually not long enough for a tail.

Also: I think ponytails look nice!

I'm actually letting my hair grow... been trying to do that since around the time I got on B12 I figure. Heck of a lot of people keep telling me to get it cut when it gets 'too long'. Which is a long process of telling me to get it cut as I conveniently forget to get it done... or outright avoid it. They've gotten tired of it by now, so yea.

Eh, I would have wanted pony flag to use with the penguin one and the inevitable North Korea flag, but ponys power to derail is apparently too strong to allow that. Thats a thing I've never understood, what on earth makes it so problemful thing? You could make any kind of flag but pony one causes instant problems. It's like pony is spam/idiotism magnet. Normal people go nuts when ponies get involved.

Bay12 and pony is a thing that always leaves me disappointed.

I can understand where they're coming with it. It may not be correct, but the understanding on the Bay12 forum is that ponies are connected with pornography, spam, and being banned from the forums. Part (in fact, I would say the majority) of the problem is our own mistakes, but I can understand where they are coming from.

Of course, the other part is that we're different. This is just the equivalent of De Iudaeis. I would, however, note that I have had personal experience with ponies derailing things, and it wasn't the non-bronies who were the problem.

I have seized control of the most volatile possible outlet of pony discussion on bay12 (the cartoon thread), and all the pony derails so far were not caused by bronies. In fact I had to lecture one guy about respect since he was essentially implying bronies were emotionally stunted and pretending to be little girls. He has since not returned to the thread.

For stuff like this, Big Deals are only made by people who want to make Big Deals. I have zero sympathy for those who get annoyed by mere exposure to something.

PS: There's a 40k flag in that thread already. Fictional stuff has a precedent of being a-ok. If I wasn't terrible at pixel art and could be assed to do it anyway, I'd make some pony flags and post them without hesitation. Then we'd see who derails things. (hopefully, of course, no one)
