The Equestrian monetary system is easy enough, everyone has a talent and all they have to do is figure out a way to make money off of said talent. Presumably, there's a market for everything. Even if your cutie mark is incredibly obscene. Especially if your cutie mark is incredibly obscene.

If I recall correctly, U-topia is derived from Greek meaning "No place", while Eu-topia is derived from Greek meaning "Good place". Confusion over the two probably stems from the original use of the term "Utopia" to descripe a Eutopia, implying that a Eutopia cannot really exist.

I mistakenly posted in the show thread. I could delete the post, but I'd rather leave my idiotic mistakes up for all to enjoy.

This is why I think there is such a thing as a Discordian cult.

The WW1 that happened in Equestria had Russmare, Equestria and Dismany (Technology, Magiteck and Discord Magic, respectively) fighting each other and at the end, the Dismans managed to summon Discord, albeit in a very weak form. In what was formerly Canterlot, and is now known as the Everfree. Russmare nuked Discord. There is now a tiny bit of ash at the root of the biggest tree in the Everfree that causes it to be never again usable by Ponies. And also, the labyrinth and the statues are all war memorials.

Theory: The planet is heliocentric and orbits and rotates of its own momentum. Celestia and Luna don't actually do anything except run the country and otherwise freeload, and occasionally hold the planet in place to piss each other and the ponies off.
