Regarding the big image on the site

Lot of scrolling to right now with the HUGE image and ads on the site, could the image be removed or atleast made smaller? What do you think?

You mean the 548 width image at the top? It's kinda big I suppose but unless you're on a mobile phone or something :X

Ads, what ads? I see a chunk of white space under the title image (which I agree is a mite too tall, but that's the logo for the show so I can't complain). If anything, I think the title image is too narrow, it should occupy more width. Somebody should come up with a custom one..... uh, I just created a new piece of work for myself, didn't I? Me and my big mouth.

The entire site IN GENERAL needs a mayor makeover. I suggest a ponified version of Darkling from bay 12.

I run an adblocker with chrome, so I don't see any ads.

We could probably find a better and smaller pic up top or something... Or have someone make one. Its such a bland pic....

Anyway, I do agree that the place could use a bit darker tone considering, well, us. Perhaps the main pic could be the picture of a Zerg victory from Starcraft with Discord replacing the hydralisk?

Why the hell has nobody done a picture like that, anyway?

I'm all for a dsarker theme and color scheme.

I'd vote for purple and crimson, but that'd be better suited for the Everfree Forest. For the rest of the forum, I vote cyan and violet.

I disagree.
Why do you want to make the forums as dark as possible? Why not something, I dunno, normal? Something not insane/creepy/disturbing?
I am also highly against gore as part of the standard forum layout.

Gore was only suggested for the +18 section, where it VERY much fits. Luna theme is perfectly normal, and was mainly suggested because it'd look nice and be a callback to the bay12 darkling theme.

But fine, a normal neutral Luna theme (at least the canon one, not the one shown for 10 seconds in session one) would work almost as well. Canterlot Voice FTW.

Yea, that's what I were thinking. Or maybe have the same theme, but a different image for each subsection of the forums. Hmm, idea: since they are all named after locations, you could have an image from the relevant location!

For the Everfree, we could have an image of bloody lemons.



As for the title image, I'll look around and see if I can find something fitting.

I think we could just do a single lemon, since we only have one such fic.
