WEBCOMICS ARE GO
I've read quite a few of them, bolded ones are ones I would recommend wholeheartedly.
http://questionablecontent.net/ Bleh drama, not very well drawn in it's earlier stages
http://www.abominable.cc/ Very well drawn and written, cute and beatiful and sad.
http://www.giantitp.com/ Stickmen. But, complex.
http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php If you're going to read just one of these read this one, so damn good, updates regularly, and starts to be in colour later on.
http://www.daniellecorsetto.com/gws.html Funny, just plain good.
http://xkcd.com/ I don't get it most of the time but when I do it's both clever and funny.
http://lfgcomic.com/ Does some interesting things with fantasy tropes.
http://drmcninja.com/ Why aren't you reading this? Go read it now.
http://www.sinfest.net/ I like it, one of my favourite favourites.
http://gunshowcomic.com/ If you like weird as hell humour, then this is too weird for you.
http://thepunchlineismachismo.com/ So good, take ALL the macho guys, and put them in one place.
http://shortpacked.com/
http://dresdencodak.com/ One of the most stylish and interesting worlds I've had the pleasure of experiencing.
http://www.rice-boy.com/ This is another stylish and interesting place to be.
http://www.awkwardzombie.com/comic1.php Video games.
http://amultiverse.com/ Very funny, does a one-shot of a universe, and the "audience" gets to vote on who'll come back for another one-shot.
http://spacetrawler.com/ Epic space time adventure.
http://www.brawlinthefamily.com/ Nintendo.
http://www.smbc-comics.com/#comic Funniest comic out there and updates every single goddamn day, contains both philosophy and dick jokes.
http://www.sluggy.com/ Kind of gone down hill lately, but there's a lot of really good stuff to read before you're caught up.
http://www.amazingsuperpowers.com/ Almost on par with SMBC. Almost.
http://www.vgcats.com/comics/? Updates once in a blue moon. Video games.
http://egscomics.com/ Art stylle is horrifying to start but really picks up quickly. Very enjoyable. Has gender bending up the wazoo.
http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/index2.php I love this one, everything about it intrigues and delights me.
http://derelictcomic.com/? Not sure where this is going. Post apocalyptic is good.
http://mokepon.smackjeeves.com/ My pokemans, let me show them to you.
http://www.sdamned.com/ Meh.
http://satwcomic.com/ Ummm. Think, Scandinavian hetalia. I guess would be the best way to describe it.
http://www.earthsongsaga.com/index.html Meh.
http://www.flipsidecomics.com/ Good, NSFW, but for a purpose.
http://www.krakowstudios.com/spinnerette/ Yes, good, beautifully made. Yes.
http://www.feywinds.com/index.html Adventure!
http://www.schlockmercenary.com/ Oh god this comic is so long but it's totally worth it.
http://everblue-comic.com/ Newer one, so it's easy to catch up. I just want MOAR.
http://www.kiwiblitz.com/ It's fun, it's not deep, it's pretty much for kids. Except for that one guy who got his arm cut off.
http://mtcpt.smackjeeves.com/ Silly, very silly. Silly writing, silly art, silly characters.
http://gatecrash.juathuur.com/ Reads like a relly good fantasy novel.
http://www.electric-manga.com/ This is an oddball, can't remember if it's ever nsfw or not. Will screw with your head a bit.
http://www.nerfnow.com/ I swear, I read it for the laughs, not the cartoon boobs.
http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/ Video games. You've probably heard of penny arcade,
http://romanticallyapocalyptic.com/ One of the best looking comics out there.
http://effigies.smackjeeves.com/comics/ Dwarf fortress comic. Sort of. Contains dwarves.
http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/?comic It's powerpuff girls, and all the other saturday morning cartoons. And invader Zim.
...
...
...
Why did I spend all the time it took to do this?
I should probably edit it some more, look for old comics that aren't in my bookmarks because they stopped updating, make it so less then half of them are in bold, make it so it's consistent between bolded and non bolded descriptions, make descriptions more descriptive, blah blah blah blah.
Does this thread even have a point? I guess we'll find out.

http://thelounge.keenspot.com/ Here's another good one. It's drawn by John Joseco. Yes, that John Joseco. And it's good if you don't mind a little not-quite-SFW content. Nothing that would be considered pornographic, however, so no worries about that.

Re: WEBCOMICS ARE GO
Okay, let's throw in a few that I'm following.
http://www.goblinscomic.com - Adventures in an RPG world, through the eyes of goblins. Well, for the most part. The art style gradually improves, and the story gets progressively more interesting as time goes by. Very gory at times. Updates twice a week.
http://www.collectedcurios.com/sequentialart.php - Art, an artist, lives an as-normal-as-possible life alongside Kat, a catgirl, and Pip, a penguin..guy. All their lives are changed suddenly with the arrival of a quirky squirrel-girl. Very, very much better than it sounds, very fun, and very well-made, even without color. Updates irregularly, something on the order of once or twice a week.
http://freefall.purrsia.com/ - Sam Starfall, best described as a "mini-Cthulhu walking around in a humanoid envirosuit", is universally disliked all over the somewhat recently colonized planet of Jean, because he's, well, a thief. He and his robot buddy Helix manage to "come into possession" of Florence Ambrose, a highly skilled Bowman's Wolf engineer, in order to make repairs on a starship they've also, hm, "acquired". However, Florence ends up repairing much more than just the ship. An extensive, if slighly slow (owing to the small size of individual strips) story arc which is very fun to read. The art improves slightly over time, with color being added at some point, but the whole thing is very, very long. Updates thrice a week.
http://www.erfworld.com/ - Was on the same site as Order of the Stick for the first chapter, has since moved to its own. Parson Gotti is very suddenly sucked into a strange world operating on wargame mechanics, very similar to one he himself was making. The story is fun and well-written, and the art subtly improves and changes over time, almost unnoticeable if you just follow it, but very apparent if you compare strips from the start and middle. Has since completed its second chapter, and now makes "book" updates, mostly text, about twice a week.
http://friendshipisdragons.thecomicseries.com/comics/ - Inevitable with this whole pony thing, here's a webcomic with ponies. Takes the premise of Darths and Droids and DM of the Rings, and applies it to the show's pilot two-parter, with unclear story beyond that point. Updates thrice a week.

Re: WEBCOMICS ARE GO
I used to read Dr McNinja but got bored of it. Wacky, over the top nonsense is only amusing for so long.
Current webcomics I read are limited to xkcd, penny arcade, and vg cats. I dunno why I keep refreshing vg cats every week or so; he only updates like, once every month and a half.
Anywho if you feel like archive binging on an ancient but pretty incredible (once it gets going) webcomic, Kid Radd. The ONLY webcomic I've ever read that was improved by having serious storylines.

Re: WEBCOMICS ARE GO
Most of the webcomics I read have been posted already, so have two more.
http://www.explosm.net/comics/ Cyanide and Happiness, a stick figure web comic by four guys; extremely dark, cynical and offensive, but funny
http://www.runliljared.com/ Li'l Jared goes to join penguin school; then it gets blown up; then he gets kidnapped by monsters and joins a monster school; as crazy as it sounds

Not to dump random discussion here, but I don't feel like making an account for the GitP forums, so I'll just say that #842 was something I didn't expect.
If you can't figure it out for whatever reason, let me give you a hint:

Dead Winter, a zombie comic... but yes, seems to be an awesome introduction that has nothing to do with zombies, but there is a reason for it.
EDIT: Failed to put in link for the comic.

Re: WEBCOMICS ARE GO
Of the four webcomics I read, three have already been posted. Fey Winds, El Goonish Shive, and xkcd.
The fourth is an obscure space opera called Outsider that has a very nice art style. What I like the most is the insane bit of world building the creator has put into it. The comic itself has some issues on updating (100 comics and it started in 2002...), but reading through the flavor takes a while as well.
Outsider Insider, for all the world building.

Most of the ones I read have been put in already, but...Oglaf. I'm not linking it because Not Safe For Kids (it actually marks the ones that ARE SFW) but it's pretty funny and makes some good points sometimes. Again, NSFW. Look it up yourself if you want to, but I don't like getting banned.

On this forum, no one really cares.

NSFW, as Xan mentioned.
I've read a good bunch of it, but it became a bit too cynical for me at times and stopped. Oh well.
